This is the Nevada registered-garage safety inspection portion of the VP-064 or VP-064A process. We inspect the required vehicle safety items and complete the applicable garage section of the form.
VP-064 Safety Inspection
•Windshield, side glass, rear glass, and mirrors
• Steering and frame
• Airbags and occupant restraints, when applicable
• Headlights, taillights, parking lights, brake lights, and turn signals
• Brakes and emergency brake
• Horn and windshield wipers
• Muffler
• Safety belts and shoulder harnesses
VP-064A Rebuilt Vehicle Inspection
•Vehicle information and VIN recorded on the form
• Applicable replaced major components identified
• Required safety equipment checked for proper operation
• Part I completed and signed by our Nevada Registered Garage
• Repairs reviewed for applicable manufacturer and automotive repair industry standards
When the inspection is complete:
You receive Part I of the applicable VP-064 or VP-064A completed and signed by our Nevada Registered Garage. The vehicle owner completes Part II and has it verified as required. A Nevada DMV representative completes Part III, including the DMV’s final VIN verification.
Please note: We complete the Nevada Registered Garage portion of the process. The Nevada DMV performs the final DMV inspection and VIN verification.
